Kevin Short, aka “K-Pink”, is one of the easiest recognizable names in pro bass fishing. Multiple wins on the Bassmaster Elite Series and Bassmaster Opens tournament circuits, as well as numerous other competition honors on the local regional, nation, and even international stages set K-Pink up as a star in the bass fishing world. Kevin holds several records, including the lowest winning weight for an Elite Series tournament, 43 pounds 3 ounces during the 2009 Mississippi River event at Fort Madison, Iowa and he also qualified for the 2015 Bassmaster Classic after missing a tournament due to the loss of his home because of tornado damage. No other angler has qualified for the Classic with fewer scoreable events than K-Pink.
K-Pink currently competes and films for Major League Fishing Select events, Bassmaster Opens, and numerous other tournaments in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. He lives in Mayflower, Arkansas with his wife, Kerry, and their wire haired griffon, Josey.
